When are the Yankees going to get rid of Joba Chamberlain?

He’s more of a liability then an asset. Are they actually gonna keep him active in the post season?Does he have a good chance of shaping up and turning this thing around for the better?

They’re probably not going to unleash him until after the world series is over, whether the Yankees are in it, and win it or not. I can’t see the Yankees letting go of him just yet. Hopefully he turns things around and helps the team get to and win the world series. Go Yankees!

i think the yankees will trade him during the offseason, it all depends on how he does the rest of this year, do,nt think he will be a yankee next year.

They had their chance when the Jays offered Downs. I know Downs is older but he has great numbers.

Hopefully, this off season. I don’t get why the Yankees are so protective about Joba. Over the course of his career which is pretty short and not including his rookie season , Joba has proven he can not live up to the so-called hype of his and that he can not perform under the lights and under pressure. I hope Joba the best but I don’t think he will strive or reach his full potential while pitching for the New York Yankees.

A trade was orchestrated, but the Astros backed out.
