Roger’s career was over when the Sox passed him, because he was DONE. Then all of a sudden the steroid era comes round and he ‘reinvents’ himself. But honestly, I was just acknowledging the MANY MANY Yankees that used Roids, especially during there glory years in the late 90s early 21st century. I guess Yankee fans (you) are also ignorant and judgemental .. i’ve been a sox fan since I was born, far from bandwagon. Yet I admit … at this point we must assume ALL players used. Manny did.

  7. disgracefulangel says:

Your comment right there describes why Red Sox fans are the most classless winners and losers. When Mariano Rivera blew that save in 04 he did not make any excuses. In Boston when they lose they say “oh we would’ve won but…”
Just because A-Rod and Roger took roids doesn’t mean ALL Yankees took them. btw, Roger was on the Red Sox. Dumb bandwagoner.
The difference between the sox and the yanks is the sox try to take away someone’s glory and the Yanks are fine with facing their loss
    ask papelfuck

  8. YankeesxFan says:

  9. shattertheearth says:

we dont need that wife and kids-leaving asswipe,ballin41889.

  15. JamesBeam420 says:

Wow, you see that steroid report? Roger Clemens, well that doesn’t surprise me. But Andy Pettite? Didn’t see that one coming. Wow. So let’s see, you’ve got Knoblock, Giambi, Sheffield, Pettite, Clemens, Stanton, Brown, Villone, Grimsley, White; what do they hand out steroids like it’s water in NY? lol, no wonder they’ve got so many rings!! Mantle and Ruth are turning in their graves.

  16. ScottFerrante says:

    About Jeter

  17. JamesBeam420 says:

What … about Torre? If you blam Joe Torre for turning down that offer, you are obviously clueless. The way Steinbrener handled the whole thing was appauling. In the midst of a playoff series, saying if he doesn’t win, he’s gone. Then offering him a paycut, with a contract based upon his results. C’mon, how many rings has Joe won in NY? If it wasn’t for Torre, NYY wouldn’t have even made the playoffs in 07′.

  18. ScottFerrante says:

    R u nuts?

  19. cups4music says:

did he honestly think the yankees would win the world series?

  20. JamesBeam420 says:

The offer they gave Torre was an insult. They knew Joe wasn’t going to take it. They might as well of fired him.

  21. Ballin41889 says:

Most of the teams in the past 7 years, or since the last year the yankees won, the payrolls of the teams hadnt been very high, so its more on having heart than it is on having 9 allstars on your starting roster

  22. Ballin41889 says:

Bet hes mad he went to the Yankees, instead of staying with Boston ahhaha!

  23. sheriffnick says:

    Boo yah.

  24. derekjeterx3 says:

yeah but u have to understand also that torre turned down the offer. it’s not like torre was forced out of the picture. DJ might leave (god forbid cause we need him) but hopefully he won’t because he’ll do what’s good for the team, not good for himself.

  25. JamesBeam420 says:

Jeter’s likely leaving soon too. Toree was like a father to him.
